Dr. Erika Rasure is a financial therapist, educator, cryptocurrency and personal finance expert, and founder of Crypto Goddess. She has more than a decade of experience in financial education and financial therapy. Rasure founded Crypto Goddess in 2022 as an educational platform and community designed to help women develop the knowledge and confidence to participate in cryptocurrency, blockchain, digital assets, and the evolving financial system. Her work combines personal finance education with an understanding of the human and behavioral dimensions of financial decision-making. She has focused on helping individuals connect technical financial planning with their personal goals, values, and financial behaviors. A longtime advocate of financial technology, Rasure incorporated FinTech topics into personal finance education, including cryptocurrency and blockchain. She also helped develop a FinTech curriculum track within the Management and Information Systems degree program at Maryville University. As a university educator, Rasure has taught subjects related to personal finance, financial planning, and financial technology. Her work focuses on preparing individuals to understand emerging financial technologies and make informed decisions about their financial futures. Rasure earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Philosophy, and Rhetoric, with a minor in Political Science, from Stephens College. She earned a Master of Science in Consumer Economics from the University of Missouri and a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University.
